Returns and exchange details
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase please contact Baltic Moon within 14 days of receipt, to arrange an exchange or refund.
Please note that all items must be returned in perfect un-used condition. A refund for the item will then be processed once returned. Return postage is the customer's responsibility.
Please contact Baltic Moon first before leaving negative feedback, we will do all we can to resolve any dissatisfaction.
Payment
We accept payment by Paypal
If you wish to cancel your order please contact Baltic Moon as soon as possible. Once the order has been dispatched then a refund is only possible once the item/s have been returned in saleable condition.
Delivery
We will dispatch orders between 3-5 working days after payment, this maybe longer at busier times so please check the processing time on each item. We post on Monday and Thursday, if you need an order ASAP please contact Baltic Moon and we will try our best to fulfil your request.
As our scarves and kimonos are only printed in very small runs (some limited edition) they are all sent using Tracked and Signed services.
UK delivery is by First Class Royal Mail Signed For.
International delivery is by Tracked and Signed for Airmail.
Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery in the UK, and up to 15 working days for international delivery. Please note delivery may take longer during peak holiday seasons (Black Friday/Christmas/New Year).
Once your order has been dispatched we will update the status and advise by email that it has been posted.
Please be aware of any postal strikes or delays in your locality; We can't be held responsible for late delivery if it's down to a known issue with the postal service.
It is the customers responsibility to provide the correct address. If an order is sent to an incorrect/incomplete address or is refused at the address and is sent back to Baltic Moon, it is the customers responsibility to to pay if they wish the item to be resent.
Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check any relevant customs charges, tax or duty, which may be payable in their own country before placing an order.

As a business, Baltic Moon is required to use and keep personal data for processing orders and completing accounts.

Names, addresses, emails, payments (paypal) and personal data such as dates and information for customised orders
Lawful/Legal basis for recording the data

Any payments that are made for orders are processed by a third party website ie paypal.

Paypal and Etsy- These sites our governed by their own privacy statements and Baltic Moon is not responsible for their operations, including but not limited to their information practices. Users submitting information to or through this third party website should review the privacy statements of these sites before providing them with personal identifiable information.
All data used is viewed and processed either using a laptop which has a password system to be accessed or a mobile phone which is password protected. All passwords are regularly changed and updated.
Data Sharing
No data is shared with any other company.
DISCLOSURE
Any data required or held by Baltic Moon is secure and held only by Baltic Moon, and it will not be distributed to any third parties unless it is required for lawful/legal basis for example, accounts are required to be shared with HMRC if they request it (please read retention of data).
You may request details of personal information which I hold about you and you may ask for them to be deleted, unless required for lawful/legal reasons.
RENTENTION OF DATA
Baltic Moon does not retain customers information any longer than required. The following information will be retained for accounts/HRMC
What data is processed? - documentation required for preparing accounts for HMRC
Data - refers to invoices, receipts, payments from customers
Lawful/Legal basis for recording the data - the legal basis for processing this data is 'legal obligation' that is required by HMRC
Data Sharing - the document may be shared on request with HMRC
Data Storage - he documents will be stored securely in paper/online format
Data Retention - HMRC states that Baltic Moon to keep records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) may check records for tax purposes.
Data Destruction - After the required length of time, the documents will be shredded/securely deleted.
All other data collected, if not needed for lawful/legal reasons is deleted within 1 years after obtaining it if no longer required.
DATA BREACHES
Baltic Moon will be obligated to notify the ICO of a data breach within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
